Privacy Policy

What information AdjusterBase processes, why it is used, who receives it and how to make a privacy request.

Effective: September 20, 2026 · Version 2026-09-20

Scope and contact

This policy covers AdjusterBase's website and learning service. Contact privacy@adjusterbase.com for access, correction, deletion or other privacy questions. External sites, social sign-in providers and payment providers also have their own privacy notices. This policy describes our service; it does not make those separate services anonymous.

Information you provide and generate

Account information includes your email, account identifiers, confirmation/sign-in information and profile details returned by a social provider when you choose that sign-in method. Password authentication is handled by Supabase. Do not send passwords to our support team.

Learning records include selected states, access entitlements, lesson progress, notes, bookmarks, flashcard reviews, practice/exam answers and scores, study sessions, lab responses, resume locations and content reports. We use these records to provide access, restore your work, grade exercises and personalize study suggestions.

Orders include the purchased pass/state, amount, currency, payment status, purchase/expiry timestamps and payment-provider references. Stripe handles payment-card entry; our application does not collect full card numbers or card security codes in its forms. We may receive transaction and billing details needed for receipts, payment support, refunds and fraud prevention.

Support messages, correction requests and security/privacy reports contain information you choose to send. Do not include customer claim files, medical information, government IDs, full payment details or confidential invoices. Use fictional or de-identified examples in learning features.

Technical information and measurement

Hosting, authentication, payment and security providers process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, browser/device information and diagnostic logs to deliver and protect the service. These operational records are separate from our public analytics.

On public pages, we use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate visits, signup/checkout interest clicks and web-performance measurements. Our integration excludes private routes and URL query strings from its page/event payloads. Vercel's analytics does not use tracking cookies. Our public analytics is disabled when the browser supplies Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

If you allow optional source measurement, we save a broad source category, public landing path and capture time in a cookie for up to 30 days. We can associate that category with your registration or purchase in internal reporting. We do not save search terms in that cookie. Declining does not prevent account creation, purchasing or learning. See Cookies and Measurement for details and choices.

AI study features

When you submit a question to the AI tutor, the question, relevant course excerpts and course/state context are sent through Vercel AI Gateway to the configured model provider, currently Google's Gemini service. We do not intentionally add your account email or payment details to that prompt. Information you type into the question can nevertheless reach those providers.

The application records usage needed to enforce tutor limits. The current tutor does not create a persistent chat-history feature in our course database; infrastructure and model providers may process or retain request information under their applicable service terms. We do not promise zero retention by those providers. Do not enter sensitive or confidential information. AI is optional; you may use lessons and non-AI tools without asking the tutor.

Purposes and providers

We process information to deliver requested services, authenticate users, administer purchases/access, save learning progress, answer support requests, correct content, protect the platform, measure public use and comply with legal obligations. Where a privacy law requires a legal basis, relevant bases may include performing our agreement, consent for optional measurement, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and legal obligations. The applicable basis depends on the processing and your jurisdiction.

Providers include Supabase for authentication/database services, Vercel for hosting/analytics/AI routing, Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, Google Workspace for support correspondence, and the AI model provider when you use the tutor. Google or Apple processes social sign-in when selected. These providers receive information relevant to their functions; authorized personnel may access records for support, security and administration.

We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a genuine business transfer subject to applicable safeguards. We do not operate an advertising-data marketplace or intentionally disclose learner records to advertisers. Our current implementation does not use advertising pixels or cross-site advertising profiles.

Retention and deletion

Account and learning records are retained to operate your account and preserve progress; expiration of a study pass does not automatically delete them. Payment, fraud, support and security records may be retained when needed for legal, tax, dispute or security purposes. Retention depends on the record and obligation rather than one universal deletion period.

You may request account/data deletion by emailing privacy@adjusterbase.com from your account address. We verify authority before acting and explain any lawful exception. Deletion may make progress unrecoverable. Backup copies and provider records may persist for their applicable retention cycles. We do not represent that clearing cookies deletes server-side learning or transaction records.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a portable copy of information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a request decision. Contact privacy@adjusterbase.com with the request and account email. An authorized agent can contact us with evidence of authority. Do not send identity documents unless a proportionate verification step is specifically arranged.

We respond within the period required by applicable law and explain denials and available appeal options. You may also contact your relevant privacy regulator. Exercising a privacy right does not result in unlawful discrimination. A request cannot require us to disclose another person's records or remove records that must lawfully be retained.

Withdrawing optional source-measurement consent stops future cookie-based capture; it does not automatically erase earlier reports or change the lawfulness of prior processing. Email us to request review of associated server records. Essential service messages, such as verification and purchase notices, are different from optional marketing.

International processing, children and updates

Our service and providers may process information in the United States and other countries, whose protections may differ from those where you live. Applicable transfer safeguards depend on the provider arrangement and law. We do not claim that all records remain in your home jurisdiction.

Accounts and purchases are intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. Contact privacy@adjusterbase.com if you believe a child has supplied information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We use access controls and other safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. We will update this policy when practices change and provide notice when required. The version date identifies the current text.
