Read a sample: Public-adjuster role, property scope, and protected boundaries
Rule and source hierarchy
Public-adjuster role, property scope, and protected boundaries requires precise application. 1. Whom does a Louisiana public adjuster assist? The insured on the insured’s first-party property claim. 5. Does a Louisiana public-adjuster license authorize legal practice? No; the statute expressly preserves unauthorized-practice limits. Read the operative statute before acting, then preserve the version and review date in the file. A statute creates the legal duty; an LDI page explains administration; a PSI bulletin describes testing; a policy controls the insured’s contract rights. Those sources answer different questions. If an older handout or template conflicts with current Title 22, stop and verify the controlling text instead of silently choosing the convenient rule. For this topic, cite LA-RS-1691, LA-RS-1692, LA-RS-1693 and record the exact action taken.
Course takeaway: The insured on the insured’s first-party property claim. A claim for damage to or arising from operation of a motor vehicle. Advertising or soliciting insured-side first-party property claim work.

Questions before you start
Does this course issue a license or provide continuing-education credit?
No. It is independent study material. Licensing, official exams, required education and CE approval are separate matters. Read the Louisiana sources and course scope before purchasing.
